Job Description: Electrical Engineer
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join a team in the Netherlands. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of electrical engineering projects. This position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and circuitry.
2. Conduct feasibility studies and analyze system requirements to determine the best design approach.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
4. Perform detailed calculations and simulations to ensure system performance and safety.
5. Create and maintain electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
6. Test and troubleshoot electrical systems, identifying and resolving any issues or malfunctions.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to electrical engineering.
8. Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to source components and ensure compliance with project specifications.
9. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
10. Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, concepts, and practices.
4. Proficiency in CAD software and electrical design tools.
5. Experience with electrical simulation software and analysis tools.
6. Solid understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, etc.).
7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
