As a toolmaker you are responsible for the (dis) assembly and maintenance of tools, whereby you resolve malfunctions independently.
Activities

Reading and understanding technical drawings;

Dealing with Microsoft Excel, 3-D CAD viewer system (VISI-progress);

Assessing and solving problems / malfunctions of follow-cutting bending tools in consultation with the team leader;

Assembling or disassembling tools in accordance with the technical drawing and / or CAD file;

Assessing tool parts for wear and regrinding by means of a surface grinding machine;
-
Working with a conventional turning and milling machine;
-
Registering all activities and supplies performed;
-
Working with a forklift and a crane to move tools (stamps);
Who are we looking for?
You are / have …
-
A completed training as a tool maker;
-
Computer skills in a Microsoft and CAD environment;

Experience with maintenance / repairs to secondary cutting bending tools;

Experience with surface grinding machines and conventional turning and milling machines;
-
Technical insight;
-
Accurate and stress resistant;
-
Flexible (two shifts and possibly overtime);
-
Works independently;
