Job Description: CNC Operator
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join a team in the Netherlands. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery to produce high-quality precision parts. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in CNC machining, be proficient in interpreting technical drawings, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications and manufacturing guidelines.
2. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and instructions to determine machining operations.
3. Select and install cutting tools and fixtures, as well as load raw materials into machines.
4. Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
5. Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
6. Inspect finished parts to verify conformance with specifications and quality standards.
7. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure their proper functioning.
8. Document and record production data, including machine settings, tool usage, and output.
9. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes.
10. Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
2. Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role.
3. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
4. Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining techniques.
5. Familiarity with various types of CNC machinery and their operation.
6. Ability to set up and adjust cutting tools, fixtures, and machines.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Basic understanding of quality control principles.
