Job Summary:
As a Field Service Electric Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our clients. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining electrical systems on-site. Your expertise and technical knowledge will contribute to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our customers.
Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site inspections and evaluations of electrical systems to identify faults, malfunctions, and potential upgrades.
Perform electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical difficulties related to electrical systems, including wiring, controls, and components.
Collaborate with clients, project managers, and colleagues to develop effective solutions for electrical problems and requirements.
Provide technical guidance and support to clients and colleagues on electrical system maintenance and operation.
Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables, providing regular updates on progress and challenges.
Document all service activities, including inspections, repairs, and modifications, accurately and comprehensively.
Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, trends, and regulations to enhance technical expertise and service delivery.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Travel to various client sites within the Netherlands, occasionally requiring overnight stays.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service engineering or a similar role.
Proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems, interpreting schematics, and using diagnostic equipment.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
Familiarity with industrial control systems, PLC programming, and SCADA systems is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours based on project requirements.
Fluency in English
Valid driver's license.
