As a Generator Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting generators used in various industries and settings. Responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of generators and associated equipment.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal generator performance.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of generators.
Identify and resolve generator malfunctions or operational issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with team members to plan and execute generator maintenance schedules.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Keep up-to-date with advancements in generator technology and industry best practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Generator Mechanic or similar role.
Strong knowledge of generator systems, including diesel and gas engines, alternators, controllers, and associated electrical and mechanical components.
Proficient in diagnosing and repairing generator malfunctions and operational issues.
Familiarity with generator testing and diagnostic tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical and mechanical diagrams, and schematics.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of safety protocols and industry regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and colleagues effectively.
Willingness to work in different locations within the Netherlands as required.
