Company Overview:
We are recruiting for a leading energy company operating in the offshore industry and are currently seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Offshore Operators in the Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) department. As an Offshore Operator, E&I, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems on our offshore platforms located in the Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
Conduct daily inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation equipment on offshore platforms.
Perform routine checks, calibration, and adjustments of instruments to ensure accurate readings.
Monitor and control electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, and emergency shutdown systems.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
Respond to emergencies and implement appropriate safety measures.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Ensure compliance with company safety regulations and industry standards.
Report any issues, malfunctions, or deviations from standard operating procedures to the supervisor.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical and instrumentation systems.
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an E&I technician or operator in the offshore industry.
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.
Familiarity with offshore safety procedures and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
Proficient in using testing and calibration equipment.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a physically demanding offshore environment for extended periods.
Valid offshore certifications and medical clearance.
